Halden is a website for an independent hair salon. Instead of a gallery up top, the first screen shows which chairs are still open today, with taken slots struck through.

Prices are shown as starting points for shoulder-length hair, with the reason they can change written right beside them. Booking is a short request: service, stylist, date and time, name and phone.

  1. 01

A price list you can read

Cuts, colour and care sit in tabs, each line with a duration and a “from” price. Patch-test and cancellation rules are written where they apply, not hidden in a footer.

  2. 02

    Book a person, or anyone

Each stylist lists what they are good at and which days they work. The booking form lets you pick one or leave it to the salon.

  3. 03

    Small, quiet and fast

A single page with no framework, tabular figures for times and prices, and a layout that works one-handed on a phone.
